eradicate bamboo

I unknowingly put in spreading/creeping bamboo into my garden. I now want to completely eradicate it! Last spring I removed it but it came back . I then used round up, the old strong stuff. It killed the leaves but not the roots and now I have more regrowth again. Through this soil there are loads of trade like roots and again I have more regrowth. What do you recommend I do now. Do I need to remove all this earth going back by 2 foot and replace with new topsoil or is there a less laboursome solution. I have grazeon 90 in shed evelyn1979, fermoy , Co Cork Posted: 30/08/2017

Bamboo is a grass and Roundup is the best product.

Let the shoots grow to 30cm tall and spray, and repeat this process as many times as needed until the bamboo dies out. Use a 1 part in 40 dilution.
