Lawn moss - new treatment? Expand / Collapse
Co Cork

Posted 18/03/2014 I don't usually worry too much about moss in my lawns, but this year it's particularly bad, my back lawn is probably 50% Moss with the grass maybe making a little progress in the last week or two. Has anyone tried this product...?

I don't mean to advertise, I'm just asking if anyone knows if it's any good, as it's new to me. It sounds promising - a bacteria/fertilizer mix that breaks down moss and encourages grass growth. It sounds like it might be better than the old iron sulphate, however a quick scan for reviews comes up with some reserved judgements.

I'd appreciate any advice on the matter.

Cheers, Bayleaf.

Posted 25/03/2014 I haven't had any replies on this, and the quantities it's sold in are large for a trial. So I reckon I'll stick with iron sulphate for this year.
