Posted 07/09/2009 I have basil(in the window), chive, flat leave parsley (which seems to freeze well) and Oregano (in a pot together outside the kitchen door), lemon balm and fennel in the allotment and lavender in the front garden. looking forward to planting different additions next season - have some seeds for bronze fennel - will try that at least!

Posted 03/10/2009 I have parsley and chocolate mint.  i had basil (it died from a root pest i think because when i looked at the roots, i saw little white things moving around; and the foliage and stems went brown and black).  anyone have this problem with basil?

Posted 16/04/2011 everytime i plant basil in the garden it dies, i have a potted basil on my kitchen window but the leaves r begining to get black spots on their leaves does anyone know what this is from and how to get basil to grow in the garden

Posted 04/01/2013 It is too cold in Irish gardens in summer for basil to succeed well. It is an easy greenhouse crop, grown from seed, and can be grown ona window sill, but watch watering, not too much or too little, and liquid feed.

Posted 01/08/2013 Im a young garden enthusiast and a bartender by profession, does anyone know where can i buy different mint here in dublin? I'm looking for pineapple mint. Thanks!
