I haven't been on here in a good while as we have been away in the sun for the last four weeks. But heading for the airport in an hour or so and can't wait to see what my garden has been doing in our absence. And hopefully Storm Eleanor has left my garden furniture still in the garden with the glasshouse intact.

I just want all of you attending todays' Get-together' a wonderful day. And no doubt it will have been organized just as well as every other year that Hazel has organized. I'm looking forward to reading journals and looking at lots of photos later.

Also, Happy New Year to everyone (just in case I didn't already say that).

Happy New year to you. Obviously it was not here in Ireland that you got the sun. Welcome back to the climate which is not too hot or cold. Nice picture of the parrot.

A HAPPY NEW YEAR to you Jacinta.  You’re probably well on your way home.  Hope all is good with your garden.  I mirror your good wishes to all the garden.iers meeting up today.  A lovely sunny morning here in Westport but apparently heavy rain is on the way.

Just in the door from Johnstown and we had a wonderful day. Weathered stayed dry for our plant swap and I came home with some beautiful plants which are now tucked up in the glasshouse.

Welcome back, Jacinta. I hope you have a warm coat with you, as you will freeze when you get off the plane.

Quite miserable looking coming in to Dublin Airport this evening. But I was surprised that it was so mild. Sandals and no socks weren't a problem. :)Can't wait to get out into the garden tomorrow. I did notice that my garden furniture is still intact, thankfully. Looking for some pretty snowdrops now. :)
